Yes. I recognize how important the development of a strong domestic renewable fuels industry is to the Senator. Moreover, I agree that the work of CPBR has been very useful in developing new and more efficient ways to convert plant material to renewable fuels and commend DOE for its past support of CPBR. I would urge DOE, as part of its annual process to determine its priorities and funding awards, to seriously consider supporting CPBR at the levels you cite.
