first of all, over the last two decades the average budget resolution considered 78 amendments. We have done 101. The average vote-arama is 35 amendments. We have done 70--twice as many. Doing this has been a Herculean feat, but it has been done by the leadership of Senator Murray, with Senator Sessions. I think we all should recognize how hard this has been for Senator Murray. (Senators applauding.) Mr. McCONNELL. Would the majority leader yield?
