I ask unanimous consent that following morning business tomorrow, Wednesday, September 21, the Senate resume consideration of H.R. 2832, the general trade preference legislation; that following reporting of the bill, Senator McCain or his designee be recognized to call up amendment No. 625; that the time until 12:30 be equally divided between the two leaders or their designees for debate on the McCain and Hatch amendments; further, at 12:30 the Senate proceed to votes in relation to the Hatch amendment No. 641 and McCain amendment No. 625, in that order; that there be 2 minutes equally divided prior to each vote, there be no amendments, points of order, or motions in order to either amendment prior to the votes on the amendment other than budget points of order and the applicable motions to waive; that each amendment be subject to a 60-affirmative-vote threshold.
