I ask unanimous consent that the Senate proceed to the immediate consideration of S. Con. Res. 38, the adjournment resolution, which was submitted earlier today. The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered. The clerk will report. The assistant legislative clerk read as follows: A concurrent resolution (S. Con. Res. 38) to provide for the conditional adjournment or recess of the Senate and an adjournment of the House of Representatives. There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the concurrent resolution.
