I send two resolutions to the desk and ask unanimous consent for their immediate consideration. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolutions by title. The legislative clerk read as follows: A resolution (S. Res. 435) notifying the President of the United States of the election of a Sergeant at Arms and Doorkeeper of the Senate. A resolution (S. Res. 436) notifying the House of Representatives of the election of a Sergeant at Arms and Doorkeeper of the Senate. There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the resolutions, en bloc.
