“My stay here in the Senate has been a great experience, but that experience has been heightened every day because of Senator Moynihan. I loved when I was going to school, but being around Senator Moynihan is even better because it is like going to school--and you don't have to take the tests. I say to the Senator from New York, the State of New York and our country is so well-served by the wisdom and integrity and the brilliance that he has. I know he is going to be here for another 6 months, but the Senate will never be the same without Daniel Patrick Moynihan. I and the country and the State of New York will miss him terribly.”
