If I could enter into a colloquy with my friend from North Carolina, the manager of the bill, I have been on the floor now for a week relative to this legislation. It is interesting to see how the scapegoats come and go. Does the Senator from North Carolina remember last week that the big boogeyman was the fact that this was a disguise to get socialized medicine, that what the intent really was was to have this onerous bill pass and everyone would drop their insurance and we would have socialized medicine? Does the Senator remember that?
