Following my remarks and those of the Republican leader, the Senate will be in morning business. The time until 11:10 will be equally divided between the two leaders or their designees. At 11:10 there will be a cloture vote on the motion to proceed to H.R. 3474. The Senate will recess from 12:30 to 2:15 to allow for the weekly caucus meetings. ____________________

More from Harry Reid
Never in the history of the country, never in the history of the country have we produced more for a president and somebody that’s led his party than we’ve done together.
Let ‘em do it. Why in the world would we care? We were trying to protect everybody.
But the purpose of politics that Harry Reid understood very well is to get stuff done.
Get rid of the filibuster, is nothing that as Brock Obama said, at John Lewis` funeral, it’s part of the leftovers from the days of the slave owners. You got to get rid of it. It’s very, very bad.
