The Senator is a national leader as part of his responsibilities. The Senator from South Dakota is not doing this because there are a lot of minorities in South Dakota; in fact, there are very few. He is doing this because it is the right thing to do. It is fair to people who are in America and want the right to have their status adjusted or reviewed in a due process hearing. That doesn't sound too unreasonable to me.
