I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until 2 p.m., on Monday, July 29, 2013, and that following the prayer and pledge, the morning hour be deemed expired, the Journal of Proceedings be approved to date, and the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day; that following any leader remarks, the Senate be in a period of morning business until 4:15 p.m., with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each; that following morning business, the Senate resume consideration of S. 1243, the Transportation and Housing and Urban Development appropriations bill; further, that at 4:30 p.m., the Senate proceed to executive session to consider Calendar No. 208, the nomination of James Comey to be Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, with the time until 5:30 p.m. equally divided and controlled in the usual form; and, finally, that at 5:30 p.m., the Senate proceed to vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Comey nomination.
