I would be certainly amiss if I didn't extend my appreciation for the civil nature of this debate to two of the Senate's finest, the distinguished Senator from Virginia and the distinguished Senator from Michigan, two of the finest the Senate has ever had. I thank them both very much for the civil nature of this very contentious debate.
