I want the Record to be spread with the fact that this is a fine legislator, a good human being. The people of Illinois are so fortunate to have this man who cares so much about people. In front of all of my colleagues, Democrats and Republicans, I express my appreciation to Dick Durbin for doing something that is unheard of here, something very unselfish, for which he gets no credit.
