Madam President, I understand the objection of the Senator, the Republican leader, but I don't know what my friend, Senator Shelby--and I say that because he is my friend--I don't know what problems he has. Whatever it is, I would almost bet a lot it is nothing that would be comparable to holding up these extremely sensitive positions keeping our country safe. I think it is outlandish, and I can't imagine this is the right thing to do. ____________________
