And it appears to me one reason to do this is to do indirectly what they cannot do directly; that is, we have--and I read them here this morning--statements from my friend the Speaker, John Boehner, saying we cannot default on our debt; from the whip over there, Eric Cantor--or majority leader, whatever he is, second in command--saying we cannot default on our debt. I am saying to my friend from New York that it appears to me they are going to do indirectly what they cannot do directly by not sending us whatever they decide to do in time to get it done. I think the country is staring in the face a default on our debt because of the House of Representatives being out this weekend. Would my friend comment on that?
