following leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to S. 2230, the Paying A Fair Share Act, with the time until 11:30 a.m. equally divided and controlled between the two leaders or their designees. The majority will control the first 30 minutes and the Republicans the next 30 minutes. The filing deadline for second-degree amendments to S. 2204 is 10:30 a.m. this morning. At 11:30 a.m., there will be a cloture vote on the Repeal Big Oil Tax Subsidies Act. The Transportation bill expires at the end of this month, so that will have to be addressed before we leave this week. We are waiting to see what the House is doing. They had to bring it down because they did not have the votes to pass what they wanted. So I assume something will pass over there--I guess. We have been waiting all week. I am confident they can scrounge up 218 votes. ____________________
