Harry Reid said "I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2012; that following the prayer and pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed expired, and the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day; that following any leader remarks, the Senate proceed to executive session under the previous order; and that following disposition of the Galante nomination, the Senate recess for 1 hour to allow for caucus meetings.
