this is not the time for me to stand and speak about the loss of a staff member whom I feel so strongly about. The man I am talking about is Darrel Thompson, who, as most people know, has been with me for 10 years. He was Obama's campaign manager when he ran for the Senate, and he is a wonderful man. I am sorry it is not appropriate for me to take Senate time now. ____________________
