I hesitate saying this because I will probably get in trouble, but this is a good reason why the House vote was bad today to disband public radio. It was such a wonderful piece. I did not know that.

The filibuster is nondemocratic. It has been used to the disarray of the Congress. And, certainly, it hasn’t been anything that has helped -- been helpful to the American people. It’s got to go.
The filibuster is going away. It is nothing that helps the country. It doesn’t help states. It doesn’t help individuals. It is on its way out. It’s a question of when it goes.
