Mr. President, following any leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to concur in the House message to accompany S. 990, which is the legislative vehicle for the PATRIOT Act extension. The filing deadline for all second-degree amendments to the PATRIOT Act is at 9:40 this morning. At 10 a.m. there will be a rollcall vote on the motion to concur with respect to the PATRIOT Act. We are confident additional rollcall votes in relation to amendments to the PATRIOT Act are possible and likely will occur during today's session. ____________________
