I hope people in Iowa understand what a resource they have in Tom Harkin, chairman of the Agriculture Committee, chairman of the Labor-HHS Appropriations Subcommittee, one of the most senior members of the Appropriations Committee. I want him to understand, on behalf of the entire Democratic caucus, how much we appreciate what he does. He is a resource that is invaluable to the Senate and this country.
