I would like to extend the appreciation of the entire Senate, especially on this side, to those who worked to allow us to be at this point: Senators Lautenberg, Dorgan, and Rockefeller, and the ranking member of the committee, Senator Hollings, and the cooperation of Senator Lott, and others. This is a very important piece of legislation for the State of Nevada but also for the entire country. I underscore the very good work of the individuals I mentioned. This is not perfect, but it goes a long way to protecting working men and women who make it possible for everyone to fly safely in America today.
