Harry Reid said "I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013; that following the prayer and pledge, the morning hour be deemed expired, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day; that following any leader remarks, the Senate resume consideration of S. 1197, the National Defense Authorization Act, under the previous order; that the filing deadline for all first-degree amendments to S. 1197 be 1 p.m. on Thursday.
