I have a deal. Again, trying to be more reasonable than I probably should be, but in an effort to try to be fair, I would consider offering a cloture vote on the motion to proceed to CHIP following the farm bill, and if cloture is voted, go directly to the bill. That way we don't lose the 30 hours. This would give people--if people felt aggrieved that they weren't treated properly during this period of time. I just don't want to lose the 30 hours because that is time toward the end of the session, and we are desperate for time for things that need to be done.
