I say to my friend, it is our purpose to allow the Senate to vote on a good prescription drug benefit for senior citizens, something that is long overdue and, as the Senator knows, in 1965 when we passed Medicare, there was not a prescription drug benefit. This will be a downpayment for that. Yes, we would like to vote on it today.
