I did not vote in favor of increased sanctions against Venezuela. I thought then and I believe now they are counterproductive and could lead to further entrenchment of the current Venezuelan regime.

I do think that one thing that is really great about that Act is that it gave rulemaking authority to the Federal Trade Commission.
