I would point out that in New Mexico we have some very strong cross-deputization laws in place, and it is working.

We actually need more funding to make sure we can adequately protect the parks and the people who attend them.

We have a law that needs to be addressed, and we have a migrant issue that needs to be addressed.

I would note that in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law we had $116 million that was going to advance the work.
