The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill, add the following: TITLE V--ACTIVITIES WITHIN WILDERNESS OR LAND MANAGED AS WILDERNESS SEC. 501. ACTIVITIES WITHIN WILDERNESS OR LAND MANAGED AS WILDERNESS. Nothing in this Act shall be construed to allow oil and gas development, mining, logging, or motorized activity on Federal public land (as defined in section 103) designated or managed as wilderness. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 614, the gentleman from New Mexico (Mr. Heinrich) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from New Mexico.
