I believe it is wise to understand the specifics of a somewhat muddled segment of the dairy production and cheese-making production. Accordingly, we have to agree to jointly direct either the GAO or the subcommittee's S&I staff to conduct a factual investigation into how much UF milk is produced in this country and how much is being imported and what is it used for, and at that time, with the facts on our side, I am confident that we will be able to address the issue in an intelligent and productive manner. I appreciate the gentlewoman's concerns, and look forward to working with her on behalf of the Nation's dairy industry.
