I also want to share my thanks for the Committee's attention to the benefits of Internet-based AP programs, particularly in rural and Native American areas of the country. As technological capacities at schools increase, there is every reason to utilize such tools to deliver high-quality programs like AP courses through distance methods, especially in schools where the student population is too small or location is too remote to sustain a great deal of variety on-site. I look forward to working with you and the Administration to expand support for these kinds of innovative means of advanced instructional delivery to our rural and Native American schools.
