Deb Haaland: “I know what it is like to be poor.”

here in New Mexico, struggle makes you fierce.

That is not in line with what our 250th anniversary of this country should be.

The decision to send a child across the border alone is unacceptable. My heart breaks every time a child is harmed because of poor policy.

I am grateful that Leonard can now go home to his family.
