Let’s be clear: Universal childcare is an economic driver for our state. It creates jobs, it allows parents to have the jobs that they need to have. Everyone deserves to have a living wage.

I can’t say why people are coming out to vote and why people want to build this momentum in New Mexico for Democrats, but it’s happening.

A lot of these issues with substance use are not criminal in nature and so my office of community safety would ensure that we can help law enforcement to focus on crime.

I really, I’m grateful that I have this opportunity … I just hope that I can help folks to see that hard work still means something. That anyone can be a leader regardless of where you come from or how much money you do or don’t have.
