That is not in line with what our 250th anniversary of this country should be.

The decision to send a child across the border alone is unacceptable. My heart breaks every time a child is harmed because of poor policy.

I feel so strongly that representation matters.

I’m a single mom. I’ve lived paycheck to paycheck. I survived off of SNAP and WIC. I’m over 35 years sober. I started school later in life and paid my own way. These are the same struggles so many New Mexicans face today.
