Deb Haaland: “For too long, the American Federal Government has facilitated and benefited from the destruction of our sacred lands.”

I look at this as a public health issue.

The decision to send a child across the border alone is unacceptable. My heart breaks every time a child is harmed because of poor policy.

Their attempt to profit off this sacred place shows a clear lack of consideration and disrespect for the lives that New Mexicans live.

I know firsthand how hard people work to earn every paycheck, and I am deeply grateful for everyone that shares my vision for New Mexico.
