Tonight, in our nation’s 250th year, I stand before you as the first Native American woman elected governor in U.S. history.

I know firsthand how hard people work to earn every paycheck, and I am deeply grateful for everyone that shares my vision for New Mexico.

I can’t say why people are coming out to vote and why people want to build this momentum in New Mexico for Democrats, but it’s happening.

They wear masks, they don’t identify themselves.
