We’ve never had a Native American governor in New Mexico. I think representation matters, especially in a political era such as this one.

New Mexico’s water must be safeguarded. We must make sure that any company that comes to New Mexico adds value to our communities, not hurt them.

Their attempt to profit off this sacred place shows a clear lack of consideration and disrespect for the lives that New Mexicans live.

But the problems we face now are bigger than ever, and we must be fierce to solve them.
