the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA), this program was created to provide compensation and justice to those Americans who suffered devastating health impacts of nuclear weapon development and testing.
To my colleagues, even though we have the evidence, RECA excluded those who were exposed after 1971 and experiencing the ever deepening damage of Government sanctioned uranium mining.
