all of us who knew and/or served with Senator J. William Fulbright were saddened at the news of his passing. I had the privilege of serving my first 2 years in the Senate with this distinguished gentleman. He was an able U.S. Senator. Senator Fulbright presided over the Senate Foreign Relations Committee with dignity and distinction. I join the American people in extending my deepest sympathies to his family.
