New Jersey should end automatic voter registration at the Motor Vehicle Commission, clean up its voter rolls, and require proof of citizenship to register to vote. These are basic safeguards that should already be in place.

And we owe it to our constituents, and we owe it to them to come up with a solution.

It’s morally bankrupt not to do it and it is politically stupid.
