If we’re not careful, we’re going to ensure we lose the midterms.

New Jersey should end automatic voter registration at the Motor Vehicle Commission, clean up its voter rolls, and require proof of citizenship to register to vote. These are basic safeguards that should already be in place.

I read the rule. I had people read the rule a whole lot smarter than me.

But — there’s a big but with that — if we’re not ready, then we need to, for a year or a year and a half, renew the subsidy.
