New Jersey should end automatic voter registration at the Motor Vehicle Commission, clean up its voter rolls, and require proof of citizenship to register to vote. These are basic safeguards that should already be in place.

The American people deserve full transparency.

The way I look at it, these voters who are going to face increasing premiums obviously did nothing wrong.

But — there’s a big but with that — if we’re not ready, then we need to, for a year or a year and a half, renew the subsidy.
