I thank the gentlewoman for her very powerful statement and her leadership, which I know is going to be greatly appreciated. She is on the Education and Labor Committee, the Homeland Security Committee, and she is a pharmacist.

We write to request that the Office of Inspector General (OIG) review and, if appropriate, initiate an investigation into the activities of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc. and the organization's affiliates.
I would add that the gentlewoman's husband, Scott, is a tremendous leader and head of National Right to Life.
If the U.S. also retreats due to limits on working with foreign scientists, it could jeopardize the whole future of high-energy physics.
