I have been here 33 years. I voted to impose sanctions on South Africa.

Now is not the time for the U.S.A. to cower or whisper on Zimbabwe or hide Zimbabwe behind the Syrian agenda.

These are people of remarkable courage and fortitude that they have demonstrated over the years.

Apartheid was such an abomination that it seemed a more blanket sanction was warranted.
