We lose volunteers to do this work because it takes so long, and the onboarding process is so irregular.

I have a couple of bills that address helping surviving spouses get some of the benefits that the veteran themselves gets.

Veterans who were exposed to toxins as well as veterans who served in the Vietnam War, Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan, the Global War on Terror, or any combat zone after 9/11, are now eligible to enroll in VA healthcare.
