Agriculture is an important part of our state’s economy and heritage, and I appreciate the bill’s intent to provide additional meat processing access for small farmers and producers.
I think you can expect that in my next biennial budget, we’re going to have expansion of those opportunities as it relates not only to child care but other workforce areas I think we can expand.
The state will work together with stakeholders to ensure the SYSC is a safe, respectful environment for both staff and youth.
