After months of legislative procedure and weeks of waiting for the bill to hit her desk, Ayotte on Thursday signed House Bill 1433.

This legislation is a significant step forward in making solar energy more accessible to all New Hampshire residents.

SB 540 protects that feature of balcony solar, prohibiting utilities from requiring interconnection agreements for the appliances.
