I said from day one we wouldn’t let beautiful areas of our state become a dumping ground for out-of-state trash.

As we have seen from recent risk pool failures, this is an important policy area to get right and these proposals need more work.

Our effort to get cellphones out of the classroom is paying off, and I’m highly encouraged by the progress schools are reporting.

Now we really need to look at how else we are using technology in our schools.
