To get into this character assassination of racism, anti-Catholic, antigay, anti-this, anti-that--there is not a shred of evidence about John Ashcroft that would indicate that, and you ought to examine your conscience before you vote. John Ashcroft is well qualified to be Attorney General, maybe one of the most qualified ever to even be put up for nomination.
