This is a time in the country when people are losing faith in institutions, particularly young people. And so having these kinds of traditions that people can relate to that help humanize what goes on here I think is really important.
I’m proud to reintroduce this critical legislation that will secure long-term investment in prevention and treatment to ensure we keep up the fight against the substance use crisis for years to come.
So we need to look both in the short term and in the long term for how we address the cost of health care.
