The amendment is as follows: (Purpose: To exclude cases in which pregnancy is the result of an act of rape or incest from the prohibition on funding of abortions by the Department of Defense) At the end of subtitle B of title VII, add the following: SEC. 714. USE OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE FUNDS FOR ABORTIONS IN CASES OF RAPE AND INCEST. Section 1093(a) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting before the period at the end the following: ``or in a case in which the pregnancy is the result of an act of rape or incest''.
