So through an organization called the Water Resources Group 2030, which is an entity that started in the World Economic Forum and is now formally housed in the International Finance Corporation--the sole mission of the Water Resources Group is to, at the invitation of governments around the world, help close the estimated 40 percent gap between water supply and water demand over the next 20 years.
Shaheen emphasizes the importance of addressing the water supply and demand gap globally.
